Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Higher Education Minister Simon Harris will launch NUIG’s new Active Consent Toolkit online later today.
The toolkit focuses on developing consent strategies for Higher Education institutions and has been developed by NUIG’s Active Consent Programme.
The kit offers guidance around designing an action plan to address consent, sexual violence and harassment.
The initiative also offers resources and research through a new online Active Consent Programme which is designed to meet the call for consent education for all students.
The official launch will be held on Zoom from 4.30pm today.
Speakers will include Minister Simon Harris, Senior Manager with the Higher Education Authority Ross Woods and Charlotte McIvor from the Active* Consent Programme.
