Galway Bay fm newsroom - The new link road which will connect the M6 motorway to Presentation College Athenry will be opened for public use today.

The new section of Athenry Northern Ring Road has been developed by IDA and the National Treasury Management Agency.
It will link the M6 motorway interchange with the L3103 at the Raheen Woods Hotel.

Minister of State and Galway East T.D Ciaran Cannon says the new link road will open up Athenry to industrial development.
