Minister Peter Burke set to visit Galway for series of engagements

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Minister of State for Local Government and Planning, Peter Burke will visit Galway today for a series of engagements.

The Minister is scheduled to meet with officials and members of Galway County Council.

While in Galway, Minister Burke will visit a number of housing sites in Moycullen, Clifden and Roundstone.

This includes Gort na gCloch in Clifden - a site set to provide 26 social homes for the area, through a mix of new builds plus the refurbishment of two existing buildings.

The scheme is due for completion in the final quarter of this year.
