Galway Bay fm newsroom - Minister Hildegarde Naughton has launched Round 2 of the Safe Routes to School Programme in Galway.

The programme is encouraging children to walk or cycle to school by creating safer routes for them to take and improving existing facilities.
The children of Scoil Fhursa National School in Salthill were joined by the minister for the official launch this morning.
