Midlands NorthWest MEP Maria Walsh is criticising the lack of clarity on the CAP budget contained in a new EU agricultural plan.
The new plan, which includes a strategy for generational renewal, is to be delivered this year.
The plan includes priorities by the Fine Gael MEP, such as a new platform for women in farming and contains a reference to farmers' mental health.
While MEP Walsh is commending the plan, she says there are a few key pieces missing:
