Meeting of Galway Beef Plan Movement suspended

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A meeting of the Galway Beef Plan Movement was suspended last night.

The AGM was held in Turloughmore last evening and was attended by up to 250 farmers.

It's understood the meeting was suspended amid concerns over the election process.

Galway Beef Plan Movement was established in late 2018 and has a membership of over 1400.

It comes as farming organisations, meat processors and supermarkets will attend the Beef Market Taskforce in Dublin today.
