March against gender-based violence to take place in city

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A march against gender-based violence will take place in the city next week.

The event is organised by the NUI Galway Feminist Society and will involve groups such as COPE Galway, Galway Pro-Choice and the NUI Galway Students Union.

The event will take place at Eyre Square on Wednesday, February 23rd at 7.30pm.

Those in attendance will march towards Spanish Arch.
