Galway Bay fm newsroom - A man is due before court this morning following a drug seizure in Cornamona.
Gardaí in Clifden discovered 1.2 kilograms of cannabis herb following a planned search of a premises yesterday shortly after 3pm.
The drugs have an estimated street value of 24 thousand euro pending analysis.
The search was carried out as part of an ongoing operation targeting the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Connemara area.

A man aged in his late thirties was arrested at the scene and is to appear before Derrynea District Court this morning.
