Galway Bay fm newsroom - A man in his 40s was arrested after a road traffic collision on the Prom in Salthill yesterday evening.

The incident involved a single car, and Gardaí arrested the driver at the scene.
The man was taken to Garda Western Region Headquarters, and has since been released pending further investigation.
