Galway Bay fm newsroom – A man has been arrested after Gardaí uncovered €85,000 worth of drugs at a residence in Tuam.

Galway Divisional Drug unit conducted the search operation under warrant yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí seized quantities of cannabis and cannabis jellies with a combined value of around €85,000, along with €13,000 in cash.

The man, aged in his 40s, was arrested and is currently being detained at a Garda Station in the north west – investigations are ongoing.
