Galway Bay fm newsroom - A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the seizure of drugs and cash from a house in Ballybane.

A man in his early 30s was arrested at the scene.
Euro and sterling notes worth 19 thousand euro and over 12 thousand euro of suspected cocaine were sized by Gardai attached to the Divisional Drugs Unit.

Two designer watches worth 7000 euro were also seized.
The man arrested was detained at Murrough Headquarters under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
He has since been released without charge but a file is being prepared for the DPP.
