Galway Bay fm newsroom - A major employer in Tuam town has been given more time to complete an extension to its buildings.
The county council has granted retention planning permission to Valeo Vision Systems to complete the extension to Building 1 at Dunmore Road.
Full planning permission has also been granted to retain and complete the sub station.
The development is subject to 8 planning conditions.
One condition stipulates that the extension must be used solely for purposes in tandem with the main industrial facility on site.
Also no hazardous materials can be stored in the building.
