Duane Construction Ltd has been granted permission for 41 homes at Garraun South.
The proposed development will consist of 41 homes, made up of 7 detached houses, 8 semi 3-storey units, 18 semi detached 2 storey homes and 7 terraced houses.
It'll involve the demolition of an existing single storey building on-site at Garraun
Among the conditions imposed by the county council, the developer must hire an archaeologist to monitor works.
Also, the public lighting, roads, paths, sewers, watermains and open spaces are to be constructed in accordance with the council's Taking In Charge of Developments requirements.
Furthermore, the developer must submit a bond of €287,000 to ensure the satisfactory completion of the development.
It's also stated that the recommendations of the flood risk assessment received by the Planning Authority in 2016 are to be implemented in full.
