The Children's Hospital project in Dublin is a "tale of incompetence for the history books".
That was the claim from Galway West TD Mairead Farrell as she used the Dáil to take aim at a variety of public projects that have run over budget.
She said the situation seems to be becoming a runaway train - and challenged Tánaiste Michael Martin on the Government's record.
In reply, he noted construction inflation since the war in Ukraine - and the fact Deputy Farrell did not mention countless infrastructure projects that were delivered nationwide within budget.

But Deputy Farrell wasn't at all happy with the response.
