Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway West TD Mairead Farrell has lauded efforts to encourage greater female participation in the construction sector.

It comes as the Government is advancing the Construction Safety Licensing Bill 2023.

Speaking during a debate on the bill, Sinn Fein Deputy Farrell said at the moment, women represent less than 10 percent of the construction workforce.
