M17 motorway closed near Claregalway exit due to collision

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardaí are advising motorists that the M17 motorway has been closed soutbound for a stretch due to a collision.

Emergency services are at the scene of the two-vehicle collision about 3 miles south of the Claregalway - Annagh Hill exit - junction 19.

It's understood there have been no fatalities but gardaí have closed the road until the scene in cleared and diversions are in place.
