Loughrea community group to host public meeting on progress of Town Hall restoration

A public meeting will be held in Loughrea tomorrow to update locals on the Town Hall restoration project.

The Loughrea Arts Recreation and Culture group will outline its recently commissioned business plan and discuss how it plans to move forward on the restoration.

The community group was established almost 5 years ago to save the derelict building, and hopes to see the Hall used for music, theatre, exhibitions and heritage displays.

The public meeting takes place at 7.30 tomorrow evening in Loughrea Library.
