Galway Bay fm newsroom - Local TD and Junior Minister Hildegarde Naughten is launching Round 2 of the Safe Routes to School Programme in Galway this morning.
She will be at Scoil Fhursa in Salthill to launch the programme which aims to create safer walking and cycling routes within communities.
It's also hoping to increase the number of students who walk or cycle to school by providing improvements to walking and cycling facilities.
