From Galway Bay FM newsroom- A local Senator is calling for a review of a scheduled increase of the hospitality sector VAT rate.
Speaking in the Seanad, Senator Ollie Crowe has been raising the difficulties facing bars and restaurants.
He says they're facing spiralling costs and the planned increase needs to be reviewed:
