Local Minister calls for Irish Rail to remove fence in Tuam

A Galway Minister is calling on Irish Rail to remove a fence in Tuam because it is causing an eye soar.

Galway East TD and Minister of State Ciaran Cannon has expressed his disappointment that the national rail body has not removed the fence before now.

The fence at the Abbey Trinity Crossing in the town, was erected by Irish Rail in October 2018.

In May of this year, Galway County Council issued an enforcement notice to Irish Rail to remove the fence by the 16th of June.
