Ireland is an outlier when it comes to bovine TB infection rates - and the EU must support our efforts to eradicate the disease.
That's according to local MEP Maria Walsh.
She says while 17 EU states are free of the disease, the incident rate in Ireland has been increasing since 2016.
The Fine Gael MEP says it's crucial that action is taken to protect the economic viability and international reputation of our agricultural sector.
