Local councillor warns farmers to check water supply as temperatures set to soar

Galway Bay FM Newsroom – Local Councillor Gerry Finnerty is warning farmers to check their water supply during the hot weather.

Temperatures are set to reach the mid-20s this week, with the hottest day of the year expected today.

Councillor Finnerty says it’s vital that farmers have adequate water supply and shelter for livestock.

He is giving this advice to local farmers:
