A local councillor is calling for adjustments to speed limits outside schools in the Gort Kinvara area.
Councillor Martina Kinane claims a 80km/hr limit on roads near some schools in her locality is "totally unacceptable".
She welcomes a committment given this week for a commencement date to be provided at the July meeting for the county council speed limit review
A public consultation will follow.
