LISTEN: Funding awarded for flood protection works at Clonfert

Galway Bay FM Newsroom - Funding has been awarded for flood protection works at Clonfert near Ballinasloe.

The works will include piping and cleaning existing open drains and associated works.

Galway East Deputy Sean Canney says Galway County Council will carry out the works in the coming months.
