Key appointments announced for Galway Garda division

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardai have announced a number of key appointments in the Galway Garda Division.

Superintendent Shane Cummins has been assigned to the Western Region Headquarters with responsibility for the crime hub within the Galway division.

Inspector Peter Conlon has been assigned to Salthill.

Sean Colleran has been appointed as Chief Superintendent to the Clare Division, having served as Superintendent over the Crime hub in the Galway division.

The new roles take effect this week following promotions and consequential allocations.
