Galway Bay fm newsroom - NUI Galway is set to host a symposium presented by the Womens' History Association of Ireland.
One of Ireland's leading historians, Professor Mary O' Dowd from Queens University in Belfast, will address the event on the progress of research on Irish womens' history from the 16th to the 19th century.
The one day free seminar will take place at the Hardiman Research Building at NUIG tomorrow (Friday 16/2)
