Galway Bay fm newsroom - Irish Water is working to carry out urgent repairs to restore water supply to customers in Kilconly, Shrule and areas surrounding Headford.
The areas affected by this burst water main include Kilconly, Ratesh, Shrule, Liss, Logawannia, Rockwood, Shrule Road Headford, Bally Fruit, Cloghanower and Keekill.
Headford town will continue to have water.
The utility is advising that residents and businesses in these areas may experience low water pressure or outages until 5 this evening while repairs are underway.
The R333 Tuam-Headford Road will be closed at Caltra Cross until 5 this evening to facilitate works.
