Galway Bay fm newsroom - Plans are progressing for an upgrade of the wastewater treatment plant in Tuam.
Irish Water has applied to the county council for planning permission to construct an upgrade to the existing treatment plant at Killaloonty.
It'll consist of the construction of a several tanks ans a new additional exit from the site.
The county council is due to decide on the development of Tuam Wastewater Treatment Plant next month.
