Irish Water hopes to roll out temporary solution in bid to lift boil notice in Kilconnell

Galway Bay fm newsroom - It's hoped a temporary solution can be found in the coming weeks to provide a water supply to the Kilconnell and Ballyboggan area.

A boil water notice was issued in mid-June last year due to elevated levels of turbidity in the existing supply, which is a shallow source.

Irish Water hopes to have a temporary measure in place in the coming weeks after drilling at a number of locations failed to provide a workable solution.
