Galway Bay fm newsroom - An injunction against protesting farmers at Liffey Meats in Ballinasloe has been suspended.
At the High Court today, the court heard notice of the injunction had not been posted at the factory gates.
According to the Farmers Journal, legal teams appearing for Liffey Meats told the court that it was correct that no notice had been displayed at the plant.
It was stated that the firm did not want to erect a notice without a garda presence and this had not been available.
This, the acting Barrister said, followed an alleged recent incident at Ballyjamesduff where a tractor was driven towards a wall when attempts were being made to display a notice.
Judge Barr said he would give a new return date for the named individuals in the injunction involved at the Ballinasloe plant.
