Galway Bay fm newsroom - House sales in Galway have fallen in the first six months of this year.
That's according to property website, MyHome.ie, which analysed data from the Property Price Register.
There were one thousand 138 sales of homes in Galway between January and June, a fall of almost one and a half per cent.
However, despite the drop in sales, the value of those transactions was up by 9 per cent.

Across the country, over 23-thousand houses were sold in the first six months of the year.
Dublin saw the most sales at almost seven and a half thousand - an increase of 11 percent on the same period last year.
