Galway Bay fm newsroom - A woman has been taken to UHG following a road traffic collision on the Headford Road.

It's understood the incident involved a truck and a car near the turn off for Corrandulla shortly before 9 this morning.
Emergency services attended the scene and Gardaí have been directing traffic.

Gardaí say the injuries sustained were not serious.
