High temperatures for Galway and the West this weekend

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Temperatures are set to soar as high as 20 degrees in parts of Galway and the West over the weekend.

Highest temperatures will range 16 to 20 degrees Celsius, which is well above normal values.

The good conditions are also expected to continue into the early part of next week.

Met Eireann's Head of Forecasting Evelyn Cusack says the best of the weather will be in the west.
