Galway Bay fm newsroom- Almost a third of deferrals from University Of Galway this academic year are because of the accommodation crisis.

The university reports that out of nearly 300 undergraduate deferrals - 92 say it's because they cannot find somewhere to live.
The situation is replicated at institutions across the country, with deferrals in Trinity College Dublin up 20 percent from last year.
