Galway Bay fm newsroom – Headford Mart remains closed this afternoon due to an internal issue.
It comes as farmers were informed last evening that the mart wouldn't go ahead at Balrickard today as planned.
A spokesperson for the Mart has told Galway Bay FM news that the cancellation is related to a staffing issue which is being dealt with internally.
The spokesperson declined to make any further comment at this time.
