Galway Bay fm newsroom - Harvey Norman is to create 40 jobs in Galway with the opening of a new store in Knocknacarra next week.
The outlet specialises in furniture, bedding and appliances and will be located at the Gateway Retail Park over two floors.
It also provides for a 600 space car park, 42 cycle park stands and the Synge and Byrne café.
The retailer employs over 900 staff across 13 stores in Ireland.
The official opening takes place next Wednesday.
