Galway Bay fm newsroom - The city based Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Centre is hosting an apprenticeship information day this week. (Thursday 23/11)
The event is being run to mark EU Vocational Skills Week.
The apprenticeship unit will be providing information stands, talks on apprenticeships, and guided tours of the training centre.
The event takes place at the GRETB's training centre in Mervue from 10.15am to 3pm on Thursday.

Centre Manager Ken Farragher says people are not always aware of the value of doing an apprenticeship.
