Green Light Given for new Sports Pitch and Walking track in Headford

Permission has been granted for a new all-weather training pitch in Headford.

The pitch will be based at Headford GAA Grounds and will involve the removal of an existing tennis court.

Alongside the new pitch will be a ball wall and lighting, there will be a walking track with lighting, public toilets, a relocated scoreboard and revised public parking.

Planners have approved the plans with 11 conditions attached.
