Green light for 38 home expansion of housing estate in Athenry

County planners have given the green light for a moderate expansion to an existing housing estate in Athenry.

Tourlecan Developments Ltd is looking to build 38 new homes to the east of Cluain na Cathrach to the north-east of the town.

The plans have now been approved with 26 conditions attached.
