Galway Bay fm newsroom - Expansion plans at Seamount College in Kinvara have been given the green light.
The project involves the construction of two general classrooms and a home economics room, as well as standard and assisted bathrooms.
Devolved funding has now been sanctioned for the extension works by the Department of Education.
Galway East TD Sean Canney says the decision reflects the continuing success of Seamount College.
