Galway Bay fm newsroom - Planners have given the green light for the completion of a housing development in Ballinasloe.
Clarke Construction had applied for retention permission for raft foundations at the Clos an Iarnoid estate in the town.
The developer has been given the go ahead to build six new homes in two blocks on these foundations.
County planners have attached 13 conditions to the grant of permission, including a stipulation that measures be put in place to safeguard nearby protected habitats.
