Government funding for Galway Local Sports Partnership

Galway Local Sports Partnership is to get 100 thousand euro in government funding

It’s part of an allocation of 2.5 million euro to 1900 national sports facilities, major stadiums, clubs and community-led facilities

The funding aims to help alleviate financial pressure as a result of increased energy costs.

Sports Minister Catherine Martin says the Sports Energy Support Scheme will further support the sector.
