Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardaí are at the scene of a collision on the M6 motorway eastbound near Ballinasloe.
The single-vehicle crash happened in the last hour (7.20) on the Ballinasloe side of the toll plaza.
Motorists are advised that traffic on the M6 eastbound at Ballinasloe is down to one lane as emergency services wait for a tow-truck to clear the scene.
There are no reports of serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the Murrough Road in Renmore is closed this morning (13/12) for a technical examination after a crash last night.
The incident involving several vehicles happened around 11p.m.
Emergency services attended the scene but no-one was seriously injured.
Gardaí are advising motorists that Murrough Road will remain closed this morning until a technical examination of the scene can be carried out.
