Gardaí issue appeal for missing Ballybrit man as search set to resume in Maam Cross

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 32 year old man who has been missing from the Ballybrit area since last week.

Stephen Cunningham is described as being over 6 feet in height with a thin build and sandy blond hair.

He was last seen on November 2nd at approximately 11am in Galway city.

It is believed that Stephen may be in the Maam Cross or Clifden area of Connemara.

The appeal comes as Gardaí and Stephen's family are concerned for his welfare.

Searches will resume in the Maam Cross area this morning.

The Garda led operation began yesterday morning with assistance from the Coast Guard and Galway Mountain Rescue.
