Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardai are investigating after a woman was hospitalised following a house fire in Lettermullen in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services - including three units of the fire service - responded to the blaze shortly before 5am.
They remained at the scene for several hours and a woman who was present in the house was taken to University Hospital Galway.
Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
