Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardai are hunting for a car involved in an attempted robbery this morning in Mountbellew. (Tuesday 16/1)
The incident happened at around 5.30am, when a black Mazda 1 drove to the front of Supervalu in the town.
Four tall men, wearing dark clothing and balaclavas, got out of the vehicle and attemped to open the side door of the shop.
However, they failed in their attempt and left the scene.

Sergeant Peadar Ryan is calling on anyone who witness the attempted break-in to contact Gardaí.
