Gardai arrest man after three receive stab wounds in Ballinasloe altercation

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardaí in Ballinasloe have arrested a man following an altercation which occurred in Ballinasloe yesterday (March 22) in which three people were injured.

The altercation took place at approximately 7pm in the Brackernagh area where three men, all aged in their 20s, received stab wounds.

All three attended at Portiuncula Hospital for treatment.

Two remain in hospital, where they are receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

One man aged 20 has been arrested and is currently detained at Ballinasloe Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
