Galway Bay fm newsroom – A Garda member has been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Athenry.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the incident yesterday evening.

The collision involved two cars, including an official Garda car.

It’s understood, the Garda member’s injuries are not non-life threatening, and enquiries are ongoing.
