Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a break in at Tesco Express on the Headford Road in the city.
The incident took place at approximately 2am on Sunday.
It's understood entry was gained by smashing the front glass door.
A quantity of alcohol and tobacco was taken.
