Fourteen-year-old Fiona Bichard from Athenry has collaborated with the Burrenbeo Conservation Volunteers to create the Burren in Bloom postcard garden.
The rockery garden, with a Dolmen style bench, is a celebration of the magical floral orchestra that makes the Burren world famous.
Bridget Morley from Oughterard was awarded a Silver Medal for her A.O.I.F.A. Floral Art Competition ‘Patterns From Nature’
Jane Stark from Moycullen received a Bronze Medal for her Botanical Art Competition submission ‘Sarracenia leucophylla White-Topped Pitcher Plant’.
Meanwhile, a connemara-inpired coastal garden designed by Oliver and Liat Schurmann of Mount Venus Nursery in Dublin has scooped the the overall large garden award
